A Textural Wonderland
At .Here we have created interiors that are very textural & layered. Terrazzo floors with small shell pieces, lined, raffia and soft towelling. Craft and contextual reference are embedded within the design itself. Handwoven forms, sculptural artworks, and tactile materials work together creating an experience that captures the rhythms of nature that over time have shaped the island.
A Playful Sense of Curiosity and Discovery
The base palette is very calm and coastal. Sand-coloured stone, light timber, linen and shell carry through each space. Natural materials that move with the light of the moon and the ocean, connecting you to the surrounding nature. These quieter foundations are then layered with expressive gestures. Huge, winding, woven installations made with The Wicker Story twist through the interiors, their ribbon-like forms moving from sun-warmed straw tones into soft lagoon greens.
Wellness on the shoreline
The spa and gym are one of the worlds most uniquely located wellness facilities. Right on the rocks, just metres from the shoreline, the experience is shaped around connection to the landscape. The sound of waves moving across the rocks, the shifting light, the sea breeze moving through raffia-lined ceilings, and even manta rays passing through the water beyond become part of the ritual of restoration itself.
Ombre Sea & Sky
In line with our design philosophy, interior forms and textures draw inspiration from the island ecosystem. Sculptural lighting and coral-inspired artworks bring the underwater world into the living spaces, each piece conceived as a study of marine form and texture. Materiality is consistently tactile and coastal. Layered tones reflect the surrounding world and capture the colour essence of Maldivian sea and sky.
